Back again with some more updates. 

New Character Abilities

There are now two more characters with unique abilities. First we have Kaeda, a shapeshifter. During your battles with her you'll be able transform into either a bear or a mouse. But you'll have to careful, whilst both forms have advantages, they also have disadvantages and you'll have to time your transformations just right to get the full benefit of them.

Then there is Greth, a blade caster. Unlike other characters, Greth is able to enchant weapons and give them extra abilities to take down foes. She also has a weapon charge meter which increases with certain cards. If you time it right it will give your weapons extra power. But time it wrong and you'll miss out on that bonus.

Both characters will be locked initially, but as you play through the game and collect gems you'll be able to unlock them.

Endless Mode

Exactly what is says on the tin. This is a new mode that has no final fight, events or shops. Just battles and it lasts as long as you can survive.

Difficulty

Balancing difficulty has been an issue so far, so I'm introducing keys. Each character has three keys that unlock different paths through the forest.  Each key unlocks a harder path, with more varied and deadly creatures to fight. Keys are unlocked by defeating a final boss during your adventure.

The final key also has a hidden surprise at the end that you'll have to discover.
